Crane Scales

Compare CRANE SCALES. A crane scale can be attached to the hook of a crane to measure the load. Crane scales are compact in design, but the scale height should be considered in the overall height of the csane system In addition to the digital readout numbers, wireless signals are available on some models allowing the remote recording of the weight information.  Most units are operated by remote control.

Dynamometers serve the same purpose as Crane Scales, and can also be used to measure tension or pulling force in other applications. They are taller than Crane Scales, therefore their height must be considered for crane application. Dynamometers are available with very high weight capacities. They should not be confused with dynamometers used for engine torque and automotive testing.
